The specifics of accounting and inventory of protected areas in the modern urban environment (on the example of the Museum-Reserve ‘Chersonesos Taurichesky’)
Abstract. The development of modern cities has a very active impact on cultural heritage sites and the territory of museum-reserves. The State Historical and Archaeological Museum-Reserve «Chersonesos Taurichesky» (“Tauric Chersonesos”) has 30 protected areas and is located in the actively developing city of Sevastopol. All this leaves its mark on the organization of the process for the preservation, maintenance and improvement of the territory, as well as on the work on the registration and inventory of protected areas. Museumification and maintenance of protected ancient sites in a modern city requires a special approach that combines the preservation of the historical landscape and laconic interspersing of elements of modern landscaping.
Key words: museum-reserve, Crimea, Sevastopol, Chersonesos Taurichesky, Tauric Chersonesos, Chersonesos choir, inventory of protected areas.
