The oldest water vehicle in the territory of Russia (based on archaeological and ethnographic research)
Annotation. The article describes the types and technology of construction of river boats, manufactured by subtractive technology (volume reduction of solid-wooden body during gouging and removal of the chips). Particular attention is given to the dugouts that are used these days in some parts of Moscow and Vladimir regions.
