Russian wooden architecture: the view from the XXIth century
Annotation. The publication is a review of the publication «Russian wood. Glimpse from the XXI Century», released in 2016 by publishing house «Kuchkovo field». The two-volume edition is presented as a successful attempt of employees of the Museum of Architecture and involved specialists to submit samples of national wooden architecture as fully as possible from the XV century to this day, to generalize the experience of the maintenance, preservation, restoration and development of wooden architecture by domestic architects, artists, art historians, art dealers and others.
Key words: wooden architecture, architecture, restoration, wooden architecture.
