ABOUT THE JOURNAL
«The Heritage Institute Journal» is an online peer-reviewed scientific publication of free access, published once a quarter in Russian and English languages and has no print analogue.
In accordance with the Statute on the Electronic Periodical «The Heritage Institute Journal», the results of open scientific research in the field of cultural studies, political science, historical and geographical sciences are published in the journal.
The journal is aimed at contributing to the development of cultural sciences, wide spread of the results of modern works on the study and conservation of cultural and natural heritage and the extension of the professional contacts’ network. The journal is also intended to contribute to the improvement of the quality of specialist training and teaching disciplines of humanitarian and social fields of knowledge, as well as to support professional discussions and open scientific polemics.

TO THE AUTHORS
The editorial ethics of the Heritage Institute Journal is based on the Code of Ethics of Scientific Publications, developed and approved by the Russian Committee on Ethics of Scientific Publications (http://publicet.org/code), and on the law of the Russian Federation «On Copyright and Related Rights».
The Editorial Board accepts for consideration previously unpublished problematic articles, research and discussion materials in the field of cultural studies, political science, historical and geographical sciences. The journal is aimed at contributing to the development of cultural sciences, wide spread of the results of modern works on the study and conservation of cultural and natural heritage and the extension of the professional contacts’ network. The journal is also intended to contribute to the improvement of the quality of specialist training and teaching disciplines of humanitarian and social fields of knowledge, as well as to support professional discussions and open scientific polemics.
In accordance with the requirements of the «Russian Science Citation Index» (RSCI) and Scopus bibliographic databases, our Editorial Board has established strict rules for the preparation and review of articles. Compliance with the rules for the preparation of articles is obligatory, otherwise the material is returned to the author for further revision.
Articles must be sent to the Editorial Office electronically, in Word format, files of type .doc.
The text of the article must be accompanied by (in Russian and English):
• brief information about the author (full name; academic degree and rank; place of work; position; scientific interests);
• translation of the title of the article into English;
• a thorough and well-structured abstract that clearly outlines the problems covered by the article, the novelty of the proposed approach to the stated topic, and the main conclusions reached by the author;
• keywords for the article.
ABOUT THE REVIEWING
The journal adheres to the method of «double-blind» reviewing: the reviewer does not know the author's name - the author does not know the reviewers' names.
Members of the Editorial Board and external experts, if any are needed, review the article in the course of a month.According to the reviews and personal acquaintance with the texts of articles, the Editor in Chief together with the Editorial Board make decisions on whether to publish the articles. The Executive Secretary notifies the author about the decision of the Editorial Board and sends him/her the editorial opinion by e-mail.
We would like to remind you that the author of the submitted material, and not the Editorial Board, is responsible for the violation of copyright and related rights, as well as for the republishing of an article already published in another journal. However, if plagiarism or falsified bibliographic references are found during the review process, the Editorial Board reserves the right to refuse publication and to not accept other articles by this author for consideration from now on.
The main language of the journal is Russian, but articles of particular interest may be published in other leading languages.
