Orthodoxy is the path to spiritual safety of the Russian people
Abstract. The article reveals the need for tradition of the Orthodox culture and pedagogy in the spiritual and moral formation of students. Describes the socio-educational project that includes teaching students of history of Orthodox pedagogy, seminars «Word of the Pastor and the Teacher» about the traditional Orthodox values, cultural and educational excursions of the orthodox monasteries, volunteer action «Charity» for children in difficult situations. Socio-educational design allows you to form students' social activity, general cultural and professional competence of the future educational activities in the field of spiritual and moral development of students.
