‘Living Ethiсs’ in interpretation by L.V.Shaposhnikova

Abstract.
The article examines some of the views of L.V. Shaposhnikova, founder of the International Center of the Roerichs, on the interpretation of EIena Roerich’ doctrine, which was called ‘Living Ethics’. The author proves that the views of Shaposhnikova represent an unformed religious doctrine (sectarian persuasion). In the author's opinion, L.V. Shaposhnikova played a key role in creating a negative image of the Roerich movement in the Russian Federation.

Key words: Living Ethics, Nicholas Roerich, Helena Roerich, Lyudmila Vasilievna Shaposhnikova, pseudo science, unformed religious doctrine
