Abstract. The article contains an overview of printed and electronic bibliographic resources (summary catalogues, content indexes, bibliographic lists) prepared by the National Library of Russia, which provide information about various sources of historical and local history information about the regions and localities of the Russian Empire in the 19th — early 20th centuries. (commemorative books, address calendars, lists of ranks, diocesan reference books and historical and statistical descriptions, statistical reviews, governor's reports).
