Cimmerian plein air (2013-2023) – the study and popularization
of the natural and cultural heritage of the Crimea

Abstract. The idea and history of the «Cimmerian Plein Air» project. List of the participants. Geography of the plein air. First impressions. Organization of work. The main directions of creative interests. The study and depiction of historical and cultural monuments of various historical epochs in the paintings. Exhibition activities of the project in the Crimea, in Moscow, in the cities of Russia, Turkish Antalya. Participation in the activities of the Institute of Heritage and ROPIK. Strengthening of creative contacts and ties with art, literary, local history museums of the Crimea. Interaction of various art schools. Cultural and educational activities of the project. Restoration of cultural and historical ties between Moscow and Feodosia.
