Military historical science: present and prospects
Abstract. Report at the annual scientific-practical conference of young scientists and graduate-students at the Heritage Institute (Moscow, 2023) on the tasks, subject and methods of military history as a scientific discipline, based on the personal experience of a military historian and writer. There is a softening of the official ideology in relation to the Soviet past of the country.
