History of conservation and museumification of rock art sites on the Tom River based on records from the State Archive of Kuzbass
Abstract. This article presents a list and summary of records from the funds of the State Public Institution “State Archive of Kuzbass” covering the initial period of conservation and museumification of the prehistoric rock art site of Tomskaya Pisanitsa and other locations of ancient images in the Tom River region. Only part of these records have been known to specialists, most of the documents are introduced for the first time. These records make it possible to more fully present the background of the creation of the “Tomskaya Pisanitsa” Museum-Reserve.
