Disclosure of the budget and personal finance topics in the works of A.N.Ostrovsky
Abstract. In 2023, the 200th anniversary of the birth of our famous writer A.N.Ostrovsky was celebrated in the Russian Federation. During Ostrovsky's time, significant changes took place in the economy and society of Russia, associated with the abolition of serfdom, the rise of merchants (including manufacturers, capitalists) and the decline of the ancient nobility. Ostrovsky's creative heritage is very extensive and diverse, while most of his works are more or less related to the topics of income and expense management, financial literacy, reasonable budget management (both corporate and family), as well as countering the illegal seizure and use of property. The article analyzes such situations using examples from the most famous plays and comedies by A.N.Ostrovsky.
