Neutrality of cultural properties and cultural institutions (Roerich pact: history and destinies)

Abstract. The archive documents connected with G. Shklyaver, the person taking active part in developing of the Roerich Pact are published in the first part or article. The second part is devoted to the position of USSR in relation to N. Roerich's attempts to establish dialogue with Motherland after signing of the Pact. In the third part – influence of the ideas of the Roerich Pact on the current state of case of protection of cultural properties is analyzed.
