The map ‘Sights and objects pointed in 100 books recommended to school students for self-study’ and analytics several pieces of art

  
Abstract.
The article is dedicated to ‘The list of 100 books recommended to school students for self-study’. It studies the way literature and certain narrative peculiarities along with their emotional colouring influence on the formation of personalities.

Selected books from the list were analysed and their influence on students of different ages was assessed. It is recommended to indicate the age group each work of art of the list is most suitable for.

The map, showing geographic location of the places where the historical events referred to in the books recommended to students for independent reading took place, is presented.
