The problems of actualization of Fyodor Dostoevsky’ works
Abstract. The author tells about contemporary interpretations of the texts of Fyodor Dostoevsky by the Moscow theaters, describes the diversity of scenic versions, the search for actual perspectives. He also draws attention to the tendency to semantic simplifications and maximum reductions in the works of classics in theatrical art, to visualization of the text and genre refinements.
