The inconsistency of the view on the exclusiveness of the method of painting from nature in the academic art
Abstract. The article is devoted to a comparative analysis of the methods of the fine arts and the issue of identifying an excellent method. This issue has its relevance in ethical discussions in the community of artists of the academic direction. The scientific novelty of the work lies in the absence of earlier attempts at theoretical consideration of this problem. In the process of personal study of the many opinions of specialists in the field of the scientific and artistic community, the author comes to an opinion about the ethical and social benefits of a scientific solution of the problem presented. The research proposed by the author, based on the analysis of scientific and theoretical sources of art, will be useful for studying in secondary and higher educational institutions belonging to the field of academic art, as well as for professional artists at the initial stages of independent study of art.
