Moscow periodicals of the last third of the 19th century as a source on the history of entrepreneurship

Abstract. On the experience of the publications in Moscow at the end of the 19th century. the problem of the influence of periodicals on everyday life is considered. The importance of periodicals as a historical source is emphasized, since it was on the pages of printed publications that official documents, reviews, photographs and numerous other materials reflecting the spirit of the era were published. Practically no historical study of modern and recent times is complete without referring to periodicals materials, and often the authors face the question of the need to correlate them with other sources.

Key words:periodicals, newspaper, public opinion, Moscow, history of entrepreneurship.
