Philosophical images of Fyodor Dostoyevsky in Ilya Glazunov’s interpretation
Abstract. The article examines the I.S.Glazunov`s works, equivalent to the F.M.Dostoevsky`s philosophy. The purpose of the research is to identify ways to translate religious and philosophical ideas into artistic language, to find common spiritual spaces of their works. The terms «the philosophy of the artistic image» and «the multi-vector approach of spiritual influences» are used as key terms. The author concludes that the spiritual spaces of F.M. Dostoevsky and I.S. Glazunov are equivalent, determined by the prevalence of the ideas of Orthodoxy throughout the entire creative path, and the factors that determine the common worldviews of the writer and the artist are revealed.
Key words: F.M. Dostoevsky, I.S. Glazunov, multivariance, implementation of traditions, philosophy of the image, artistic language, versatility of interpretations, spiritual space.
