Russia's сivilization heritage: methodology of the research program and the outlines of a long-term strategy

Abstract. The article is an expanded version of the report at the scientific-practical conference. It presents the methodological foundations of the interdisciplinary research program «The Civilization Path of Russia». The program was initiated by the Scientific Council of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences for the Study and Protection of Cultural and Natural Heritage and is implemented with the participation of the Heritage Institute, the ARNS Expert Center and the Faculty of Philosophy of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, as well as the expert structures in the government. The program is built on the basis of an original methodology, which allows to unite the efforts of a wide range of scientists and specialists in the most diverse fields of humanitarian and natural science knowledge, strategic planning and forecasting.

Key words: formation of the concept «civilizational heritage», typology of civilizational theories, strategy of long-term development, state cultural policy, methods of adaptation and indoctrination, scientific and political discourse.
