The XVI Chekhov International Theatre Festival as a phenomenon of Modern Art in Russia
Abstract. The article presents a brief history of creation and development of the Chekhov International Theatre Festival as a new genre in art, and examines the phenomenon of the XVI Festival in the context of the global cancellation of Russian culture.
