The Lower Tom Rock Art Centre

Abstract. The article examines the landscape and geographical aspects of the Tom River region rock art, its place in the cultural and historical context of Siberia. The author determines chronological stages and boundaries of creation of rock images on the banks of the Tom River and the time of the emergence of rock images in South Siberia. The time of discovering the Novoromanovo Pisanitsa is defined more precisely.
