Problems of investment and legalization
of archaeological collections
Abstract. Cultural property successfully combine the ability to implement the reflex of the goal and at the same time be an investment tool. Among other things, the subject of collection are archaeological items, the acquisition of which is regulated by a legal procedure, non-compliance with which is associated with the risk of seizure of the archaeological item from the buyer, other risks of a legal, economic and reputational nature. The article reveals the issues of examination of cultural property and the consequences of non-compliance with the mechanism for the circulation of archaeological items established by law.
