of the Crimean front of the Great Patriotic war
in fiction cinematography of the Stalin and Khrushchev periods of the USSR (1944–1964)

Abstract. The purpose of this study is to identify the specifics of commemoration of the events of the Crimean Front (1941-1945) of the Great Patriotic War by means of cinematography during the reign of I.Stalin and N.Khrushchev in the USSR. The article provides a comparative analysis of the depiction of these events in the periods of 1944-1953 and 1953-1964 in Soviet cinema, which was used as a tool for perpetuating the events of the war and forming the historical memory of the Soviet people. According to the author, cinematography performs the task of transmitting narratives and intergenerational communication, while influencing the formation of the cultural memory of society. Films about Crimea of ​​those periods demonstrate changes in the ideological vector, reflect the influence of artistic styles and aesthetic ideals, cultural stereotypes.
