CURRENT PROBLEMS OF THE ACTUEL SYSTEM
OF PROTECTED ZONES FOR CULTURAL HERITAGE SITES IN RUSSIA
Abstract. The authors examine current issues of the modern system of protection zones for cultural heritage sites in the Russian Federation. The regulatory framework is analyzed, contradictions and gaps in the mechanisms for establishing and implementing protection zones are identified. Emphasis is placed on the need to modernize existing legislation, digitalize security activities, and interdepartmental coordination for the effective protection of historical and cultural heritage.
