MILITARY EDUCATION OF SERVICEMEN OF THE RUSSIAN ARMY
IN THE SECOND HALF OF THE 19TH CENTURY – EARLY 20TH CENTURY:
HISTORICAL EXPERIENCE, LESSONS
Abstract. This article examines the historical experience of the Russian state in military education in the Russian army from the second half of the 19th century to the early 20th century. It reveals the key characteristics, features, trends, and areas of activity of state and military bodies in the military education of Russian army personnel during the period under study. It concludes that the military education mechanism in the army was based on state ideology, command-administrative methods, and management forms and principles.
