‘ARCHAEOLOGY OF THE RUSSIAN ARCTIC’:
BOOK REVIEW
Abstract. The review emphasizes the relevance and scope of the work undertaken by the authors of this scientific publication to systematize and summarize the accumulated knowledge on the archaeology and history of the Arctic zone of northeastern Europe, Eastern Siberia, Kolyma, Chukotka, and other Arctic territories. Particularly noted is the use of an interdisciplinary approach, which allowed for the development of a holistic model of human exploration of the Arctic territories and the exploration of their significance within the system of Eurasian cultural ties.
