PREREQUISITES FOR THE EMERGENCE AND FEATURES
OF THE FUNCTIONING OF MUSEUMS OF RUSSIAN WRITERS
IN THE CIS MEMBER STATES
Abstract.The article attempts to identify and analyze the prerequisites for the emergence and functioning of museums of Russian writers in the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). The analysis of historical, cultural and social factors that led to the appearance of the phenomenon under study is carried out. Attention is paid to both the socio-cultural context and the features of these museums, including their collections and expositions. Within each CIS member state, information is provided on the identified museums of Russian writers, the conditions of their appearance are described and key features are demonstrated.
