The attributes of outstanding universal value of the World Heritage Site “The architectural ensemble of the Trinity-Sergius Lavra in the city of Sergiev Posad”
Abstract. The author analyzes the retrospective formulation of the outstanding universal value of the World Heritage Site “The Architectural Ensemble of the Trinity-Sergius Lavra in Sergiev Posad” and on its basis identifies the attributes of outstanding universal value, which are key characteristics of the object and served as the basis for its inclusion in the World Heritage List.
Key words: world cultural heritage, UNESCO, outstanding universal value, historical and cultural monuments, architecture, international protection of cultural heritage.
