‘So that time does not pass idle’: Results of reconstruction of the map of F.T.Rozmyslov's expedition in 1768-1769
Abstract. The author made an attempt to reconstruct the route of the expedition of Fedor Timofeevich Rozmyslov in 1768-1769 in the Matochkin Shar strait.Research based on surviving copies of two journals of the expedition. The article describes the method used by the author, and also presents the results, accompanied by a brief description of each day of the first survey of the shores of Matochkin Shar. The article also presents the map of the Matochkin Shar strait, compiled as a result of the reconstruction, and the map of the expedition routes in Matochkin Shar.
