The Russian legislation on culture should correspond to the national interests of Russia
Abstract. The article discusses a number of amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation adopted in 2020, which relate to issues of state cultural policy. These new constitutional norms are aimed, in particular, at protecting historical truth, strengthening the moral values of Russian society, protecting the institution of the family, and consolidating the cultural and educational function of the state in the Constitution of the Russian Federation. The author presents proposals on legislative support for the implementation of the new norms of the Constitution
