The phenomenon of Moscow entrepreneurship and its conceptual features at the turn of the XIX-XX centuries

Abstract.In the XXI century, there is a growing interest in the revival in our country of traditions related to charity in various spheres of social life and patronage supporting science, culture, education. This is due to the constant socially necessary search and improvement of non-state forms of support, including the socio-economic sphere. The article is devoted to the phenomenon of Moscow entrepreneurship at the turn of the XIX-XX centuries and the implementation of charitable assistance and the development of patronage in Moscow during this historical period. The article presents a position aimed at understanding the significance of social measures implemented by the state, at understanding the essence of the Moscow traditions of charitable activity.
