On the prospects of using preventive conservation of archaeological museum objects made of metal
Abstract. The article discusses methods of preserving cultural heritage in field research and museum storage. The key attention is paid to the methods of preventive conservation, one of which is the creation of a microenvironment in a closed space. A brief summary of the formation of this industry is given, the terminology is systematized and the relevance of the use of preventive conservation methods is substantiated.
Key words: preservation of historical and cultural heritage, preventive conservation, microenvironment method, museum storage, archaeological objects made of metals.
