Contribution of collector Felix Evgenievich Vishnevsky
to the development of Russian museum collections

Abstract. This publication presents a comprehensive analysis of F.E.Vishnevsky's museum work and characterizes its significance for Russian museology. The work highlights the collector's contribution to the formation of Moscow and regional museum collections and examines his practice of attribution, examination, and restoration of works of art. Particular attention is given to F.E.Vishnevsky's role in acquiring the collection of the A.S.Pushkin State Museum.
